Why have you decided to offer Franchises for people to work for home rather than offices?

It is an expensive business to start up with little return for a few months. We wanted to give people a chance who have access to some funds but do not want to risk around £100,000. Without the overheads of high street premises, it is possible to earn a high income due to the importance of the Internet.

Though our offices still attract a good deal of customers through the door, the majority come from the internet.

What experience do I need to have?

As long as you are hardworking and ambitious, experience is an advantage but not essential. We will support you throughout and guide you through managing both sales and lettings.

Do I get an exclusive area?

Yes, once you become a Munrolock franchise owner, we will not set anyone else up in that area. This will be for both Sales and Lettings.

Why are you offering Sales and Lettings ?

Because Lettings can create instant income and in some cases could become more successful for you than Sales. Also if there is a dip in one market, the other usually increases its business.

What is included in the start up package?

Contact us to receive one of our Franchise brochures which will explain in detail, but briefly it contains everything you need to get started including sold boards, letterheads, logos, website, estate agency software, leaflets, even a camera and measure!

Why should I choose Munrolock rather than a different franchise?

Only you can decide the right option for you. If you do have access to funds of around £100,000 then maybe setting up premises could be the answer for you, otherwise you are limited to your options. We know of only a couple of other agencies offering franchises to work from home and we believe we are currently the only ones offering both Sales and Lettings in the same package.

We also run our own High street offices, so we have experience on both sides.

What if I wanted to set up premises at a later date?

Unlike the other home based franchise companies we know of, we also run and believe in High Street offices. Our offices have been extremely successful and we see no reason for that not to continue. We also see a market for agencies without high street presence.

If you ever wished to set up High Street premises, we would guide and support you throughout.
